Valentine’s Day with Little Lady Love

Back when Beara was a tiny infant, she got the nickname Little Lady Love.  Today offers a good example of why we still call her that…

The kids and I  made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, and while we were eating, Beara brought in our presents, wrapped in her treasured NICU blanket – Happiness Kits she had made for each of us!

Chocolate chip pancakes, with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and pink sugar sprinkles.

The kit consisted of a card, a cutout heart, a window decoration, a Valentine’s Day themed memory game, and a set of directions for How To Be Happy, which was just the best.  Here it is:

Step 1: Fill yourself with Love.

Step 2: Put a smile on your face!

Step 3: Give surprise presents to people you love.

Step 4: Get and give hugs.

Step 5: Be together!

That about sums it up, right?  I love her creativity, her generous spirit, and her desire to make everything into a celebration.  She’s all the happiness kit I could ever need.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!  🙂

I’m sorry I didn’t get to speak to the kids, but it was good speaking to you. 🙂 Thinking of Skyping when I get home from tomorrow’s insanity. Shall I just try to call about 3pm?
